Alias IP Table

The Alias IP window contains the following fields:

Alias Addresses – The alias IP address that clients will use to access the cache farm.

Farm Address – The IP address of the cache farm to which clients will be directed.

Enabled – Whether or not the alias IP address will access the cache farm.

Description – A text description of the alias IP address.

To create an alias IP address:

From the CSD menu, point to Cache Parameters and choose Cache Farm.
The Farm Table window opens.
From the Farm Table list, select a farm.
Click Alias IP.
The Alias IP Table window opens.
In the Alias IP Table, click .
The Alias IP Table Insert window opens.
Enter the appropriate information.
Click .
The Alias IP Table Insert Window closes.
In the Alias IP Table window, click .
Your changes are recorded.

To edit an existing alias IP address:

From the CSD menu, point to Cache Parameters and choose Cache Farm.
The Farm Table window opens.
From the Farm Table list, select a farm.
Click Alias IP.
The Alias IP Table window opens.
In the Alias IP Table window, select an alias IP.
Click .
The Alias IP Table Edit window opens.
Enter the appropriate information.
Click .
The Alias IP Table Edit Window closes.
In the Alias IP Table window, click .
Your changes are recorded.
