Mirroring enables a backup redundant device to mirror an active device by sending a snapshot of the information contained on the active device to the backup device. If the active device fails, the backup device can seemlessly resume the sessions.
After enabling mirroring, restart the device.
The Active Device Parameters window contains the following fields:
Client Table Mirroring – Enables or disables the mirroring of the client table.
Percent of Client Table to Backup – The percentage of the client table to send to the backup device.
Client Mirror Update Time – How often to send client table entries, in seconds.
URL Table Mirroring – Enables or disables the mirroring of the URL table.
Percentage of the URL Table to Backup – The percentage of the URL table to send to the backup device.
URL Mirror Update Time – How often to send URL table entries, in seconds.
