

Cache Parameters URL Policies
The CSD allows users to set URL policies. You can block particular URLs, so that the CSD will avoid retrieving data from the site and will reset the connection. You may also have the CSD avoid caching certain sites, and route clients directly to the Internet.
You use the URL Policies Table to configure preferred sites. The URL Policies Table includes the following fields:
To set policies for a URL:
- From the CSD menu, point to Cache Parameters and choose URL Policies.
The URL Policies Table window opens.
- From the URL Policies window, click

The URL Policies Table Insert window opens.
- Adjust the values of the appropriate fields.
- Click

The URL Policies Table Insert window closes.
- In the URL Policies Table, click

To edit policies for a URL:
- From the CSD menu, point to Cache Parameters and choose URL Policies.
The URL Policies Table window opens.
- Select the URL to edit.
- From the URL Policies window, click

The URL Policies Table Edit window opens.
- Adjust the values of the appropriate fields.
