

Device Access Control (FACS) Table
The FACS Table contains the following information:
- Protocol The protocol for which the FACS information is currently displayed.
- Working Database The database being used for the FACS information.
- Index The entry number.
- Source Address The source address mask of the traffic in question. The mask defines a range of addresses by setting how many bits of the source address are relevant.
- Destination Address The destination address mask of the traffic in question. The mask defines a range of addresses by setting how many bits of the destination address are relevant.
- Operation Whether the indicated traffic is allowed access or not:
- Forward Traffic is allowed access.
- Block Traffic is not allowed access.
- Block and Report Traffic is not allowed access, and an SNMP trap is sent containing the source address of the traffic and the ACS ID. Use this mode for Violation reports.
- Network Filtering This field applies only if the protocol is IP (ICMP, all IP traffic, UDP, or TCP), or bridge (Layer II Multicast). Choose the value of the network filtering.
- Socket Num This field applies only if the protocol is IP (UDP or TCP) or IPX. Choose from the drop-down list, or type in the decimal number that represents the port or socket.
To activate FACS:
- From the Security menu, choose FACS.
The Device Access Control (FACS) Table window opens.
- In the Device Access Control Table window, set the FACS Enable parameter to Enable.

To change the information in the FACS table:
- From the Security menu, choose FACS.

- In the Device Access Control Table window, select a row.

To make a new entry in the FACS table:
- From the Security menu, choose FACS.
