The Physical Configuration Edit window displays the following:
Server name The physical server name specified in the Application Server Table. The name is used to group logical application servers.
Recovery Time The time, in seconds, during which no data will be sent to this group. The time begins from the moment the first logical application server in this group is active, usually after the physical server boots.
Warm Up Time The time, in seconds, during which clients are slowly sent to this group at in increasing rate, so that the server can reach its capacity gradually. This option will not function in the cyclic load balancing algorithm.
Connection Limit The maximum number of sessions open at any given time on this physical server. When the limit is reached, new sessions will no longer be redirected to any application that resides on this physical server, and a trap will be sent to management application. All current sessions will continue to be served. Use this option to protect your server from SYN attacks.
Admin. Status Can be determined by the user as one of the following options:
Enable - The server is active.
Shutdown - The machine is shut down. No new clients are connected to any of the applications hosted on this server. Existing connections remain until terminated by the client.
