This window manages the configurations for the two additional private server load balancing algorithms. These parameters are used to load balance the users of the farms that are configured with private-1 or private-2 dispatch methods. The values supplied by the servers should be in the range of 0 to 100.

The Private Parameters Table window displays the following:

• Serial No. – The serial no. of the scheme. Scheme no. 1 is used for dispatch method private-1, etc.

• Special Check Period – The time interval between queries for the requested parameters.

• Var1 Object ID – The SNMP ID of the first private variable to check.

• Var1 Weight – The relational weight for considering the value of the first parameter.

• Var1 Mode – Whether to measure the percentage free or the percentage busy of the first parameter.

  • Percent Free - The value of the variable specified in Var1 Object ID describes the percentage still free.
  • Precent Busy - The value of the variable specified in Var1 Object ID describes the percentage currently busy.
    
    
• Var2 Object ID – The SNMP ID of the second private variable to check.
  
  

• Var2 Weight – The relational weight for considering the value of the second parameter.

• Var2 Mode – Whether to measure the percentage free or the percentage busy of the second parameter.

  • Percent Free - The value of the variable specified in Var2 Object ID describes the percentage still free.
  • Precent Busy - The value of the variable specified in Var2 Object ID describes the percentage currently busy.
     
    
• Retries – Describes how many unanswered requests for a variable will make it be ignored in the load balancing decision.
  
  

• Community – The community name to use when addressing the server.
