Uninstalling Netscape Application Server from UNIX
To uninstall Netscape Application Server on the UNIX operating system, run the remove.sh script in the NAS bin directory. Please note the following before uninstalling Netscape Application Server: The uninstall program overwrites the web server configuration file (obj.conf) with a version of the same file that existed before you installed Netscape Application Server and the Web Connector plug-in. Therefore, all changes you made to the web server's obj.conf file after installing Netscape Application Server and the Web Connector plug-in are lost. The following directories remain after you uninstall Netscape Application Server: Netscape Application Server root directory Any custom directories you created under the NAS directory APPS directory Some Netscape Application files may remain after running the uninstall program due to locks that the operating system or NFS might have. Remove such files manually.
