Redundancy IP Redundancy
This window shows the redundancy configuration of the backup device. It defines the interfaces of this device and the associated interfaces of the main device which is backed-up. When the backup device detects a failure at the main device interfaces, the backup will take over.
The window lists the following parameters:
Interface IP Address The IP address of the backup interface.
Main Router Address The IP address of the interface on the main WSD, which this WSD is backing up.
Operating Status The redundancy status:
Poll Interval The polling interval for the main WSD interfaces, in seconds. If the interval is 0, the WSD is not polled.
Time Out The interval, in seconds, during which the WSD must respond. If the main WSD does not respond within this interval, it is considered inoperative. If Time Out is 0, the backup WSD ignores the row.
