
Redundancy Global Configuration
You can configure more than one WSD device on a network such that they back up one another. In this case, a failure of any network interface on the one WSD will fail the whole device, and the backup device, previously handling its own farms, will take over all activity.
To enable the backup device:
- From the WSD menu, point at Redundancy and choose Global Configuration.
The Global Redundancy Configuration window opens.
- In the Global Redundancy Configuration window, ensure that that IP Redundancy Admin Status is enabled.
- Ensure that Interface Grouping is disabled.
- Click

Your changes are made.
- Configure IP Router Redundancy.
To enable the main device:
- From the WSD menu, point at Redundancy and choose Global Configuration.
The Global Redundancy Configuration window opens.
- In the Global Redundancy Configuration window, ensure that that IP Redundancy Admin Status is disabled.
- Ensure that Interface Grouping is enabled.
- Click

To enable mutual redundancy device:
- From the WSD menu, point at Redundancy and choose Global Configuration.
The Global Redundancy Configuration window opens.
- In the Global Redundancy Configuration window, ensure that that IP Redundancy Admin Status is enabled.
- Ensure that Interface Grouping is enabled.
