Specifying Application Root Directories
Application root directories specify where the Java Server or C++ Server processes are to look for application component files such as query files and template files. The Netscape Application Server uses default directories. When deploying applications, the application files are installed under these default directories. You can change and create your own directories when necessary, and specify those directories when deploying. For more information about deploying applications, see "Deploying an Application."

To specify application root directories

  1. Open the Application tool of the Netscape Application Server Administrator.
  2. In the Enterprise window, select the server for which you want to change application root directories.
  3. In the Information window, use the text boxes to modify or add root directories for the specified application components.
  4. Use a semi-colon delimited list when specifying more than one directory for an application component.

For more information about the application root directories, see "About Application Root Directories."

  5. Click Apply Changes to save your changes to the Netscape Application Server.
