About Upgrading Applications You also need to work with the application developer when upgrading an application or fixing application bugs. All updated application files are pushed from the Netscape Application Builder to the Netscape Application Server. The developer is ultimately responsible for the upgrade. The developer does require that the Netscape Application Server is prepared to have the application upgraded. You can prepare a Netscape Application Server for the application upgrade by performing the following tasks: Disabling the AppLogic objects to be upgraded or, if it makes more sense, stop all requests from entering the server. After the developer deploys the updated objects, you need to enable the objects or allow the Netscape Application Server to accept application requests.
