If you use ConfigWare as a Web-based applet, you may want to configure security measures for the communication between the ConfigWare client and the ConfigWare Web server. If you opt to use Digital Signature or Encrypted Session, ConfigWare may work a little slower. The performance of the WSD is unaffected.

• No Security – No security method is employed.
• Digital Signature – Each object sent is accompanied by a digital signature that can be authenticated and verified by the other side. Uses the RSA algorithm.
• Encrypted Session – All messages sent between the client and server are encrypted using the RSA algorithm.

Note: If you opt to use Digital Signature or Encrypted Session, ConfigWare may work a little slower. The performance of the WSD is unaffected.
