Adjusting Weight Factors for Server Load Criteria
Adjust the weight factors for Server Load criteria to optimize how application requests are distributed across multiple Netscape Application Servers based on system resources.

You can adjust weight factors for the following Server Load criteria:

For a description about these criteria, see "About the Server Load Value."

To adjust the weight factors for Server Load criteria

  1. Open the Load Balancing tool of the Netscape Application Server Administrator.
  2. Make sure you are on the Server Load tab.
  3. In the Enterprise window, select the server for which you want to adjust the weight factors.
  4. In the Information window, use the sliding scale markers to adjust the weight factor for each criterion.
  5. The grand total of all weight factors must equal 100.

  6. When finished, click Apply Changes to save your changes to the Netscape Application Server.
