Adjusting Weight Factors for AppLogic Performance Criteria
Adjust the weight factors for AppLogic Performance criteria to optimize how application requests are distributed across multiple Netscape Application Servers based on how well AppLogic objects are running on a Netscape Application Server. You can adjust weight factors for the following AppLogic Performance criteria: Server Load Cached Results Available Lowest Average Execution Time Most Recently Executed Fewest Executions For a description about these criteria, see "About the AppLogic Performance Value." To adjust the weight factors for AppLogic Performance criteria Open the Load Balancing tool of the Netscape Application Server Administrator. Click the AppLogic Criteria tab. In the Enterprise window, select the server for which you want to adjust the weight factors. In the Information window, use the sliding scale markers to adjust the weight factor for each criterion. The grand total of all weight factors must equal 100. When finished, click Apply Changes to save your changes to the Netscape Application Server.
