Adjusting Load Balancing Weight Factors
The load balancing service decides which Netscape Application Server should process a request based on the weight factor specified for the Server Load and AppLogic Performance criteria. You set these weight factors according to how important each criteria is for keeping your applications running optimally. For more information about weight factors, see "Requirements for Load Balancing."

The weight factors are set to default values based on the most typical applications that run on a Netscape Application Server. You can adjust these factors for either the Server Load criteria or the AppLogic Performance criteria to optimize your specific application.
