Creating a User
Create a user to implement user security. User security is best used for Intranet applications with a small number of known users.

To create a user

  1. Open the Security tool of the Netscape Application Server Administrator.
  2. Go to the Users and Groups tab.
  3. Click New User.
  4. The New User dialog box appears.

  5. Under Username, enter the username for this user.
  6. (Optional) Under Description, enter a description for the user.
  7. Under Password, enter a password for the user and retype the password in the Confirm Password box.
  8. To add the user to a group, select the group or groups the user is to be a member of and add your selection to the Member of box.
